MAN'S HUMANITY

E-Mail  by Richard Rossi  Bio/Address

They say the death of one man

Diminishes us all,

But I have to wonder if that's

Really the call.

When people cry for executions

Then cheer and shout,

Have we not lost sight of what

Humanity is about?

Do we solve our problems by

Killing some more,

When killing is what we

Say we abhor.

Can we justify our pain and

Does it feel more real,

By sacrificing a poor few

Just to prove our zeal.

Have we cured the cancer

We feel so deep,

By injecting the poison

That brings eternal sleep?

And after we are sure

He is deathly still,

We then bury his body

Up on Potter's Hill.

There are no plaques to tell

Who is in eternal slumber,

Just a very small marker with

A cold lonely number.

READER'S COMMENT

To whom it may concern,

My name is Suzette Lambert. Richard Rossi is my cousin and dear friend.

I wanted to thank those who have taken time and effort to enlighten the public via internet about cases/individuals such as Richard.

I have come to find that Richard is one of the strongest, and most inspirational persons I have yet to meet. Many have much to learn about humanity.

Thank you, I appreciate your time and your effort. This is a wonderful gift.

Sincerely,

Suzette
