AMBROSIA PUT ON YOUR CLOTHES

E-Mail   by Willie Christopher Tucker   Bio/Address

Ambrosia put on your clothes!

Gyrating your derriere in clubs

Action like it’s all you know.

Walkin’ round in the streets

Exposing your flesh

That ain’t how your mama

Taught you how to dress.

Tight fittin’ jeans

That look so mean

Clingin’ to your hips

And in between,

Nothing.

Ambrosia, put on your clothes!

Lookin’ like a prostitute,

Knowing very well

That it ain’t you.

You say that you want respect?

Respect is what you’ll get

If you change your funky attitude,

And stop being rude.

Standing back on one leg,

Twisting your neck when you talk,

To emphasize your point

Puttin’ your hands on your hips

When you walk.

Yeah, you fine

But you got to be out of your mind!

Degrading yourself,

Acting like there is no hope left.

I believe in you

And all that I know you can do!

I’d like you more,

If you were fully clothed

Remember they say,

You reap what you sow,

Sweet Ambrosia -

Put on your clothes
