a tool for manipulation,

Chancing a broken heart, fearing all the pain,

left me emotionally crippled, and all alone again.

The priest rapes a child, the state kills again.

Jesus forgives all whom accept him,

there is no promised land,

and there's no God within my sight.

I saw your beauty, completely pure.

How could I see the snake?

A beautiful boy you are,

my blood runs through your veins,

nothing lasts forever, even love’s a lie.

Starving, dying children, exploding deadly planes,

Drug addicted mothers beaten and ashamed,

and there's no God within my sight.

Fools for the exploitation of riches and for fame,

taxation, government and death is all we'll ever claim.
