Nobody Important by Don Collins |
| How do you say goodbye …
When there’s no one to say goodbye to Not logic, not the untold truth came to light Those who knew you disappear into the night Decades of friendships all gone through the roof… Do you honestly believe you heard the truth? People become apart and forget who you are… They leave you abandoned, like a distant star It doesn’t get better, it will never amend… Imagine having nothing, not even a friend. I burden you not, as I have no more to say… We wish things were different, not this way |
| I leave with the silence of no goodbye…
In hopes that at least, my spirit, will lift to the sky |
