WAR TIMES

By TONE PITTS
I am in a war with a cruel opponent "Time" a fierce enemy that never sleeps or takes timeout, only destructively advancing minute by minute, day by day trying to annihilate me, ruin my dreams, ripen me with age and destroy my allied ships: the mothership, fathership, sonship, daughtership, sistership, friendship and all the ships in relations.
The cavalry of "Time" are lead by commander and chief father time and four-star general warden. This brutal war against "Time" has been waging for five thousand seventy five days, one hundred and thirty thousand five hundred and eighty hours, seventy eight million eighty four thousand minutes of intense battle. Soldiers of time are shooting all forms of artillery, from snipers to explosives to B-fifty two psychological bombers. I’ve been pinned down in hostile environments, wounded by long lockdowns, ambushed by outrageous phone rates. Blasts from 50 caliber machine guns bullets laced with hard times, bad times, and hopelessness fill the air. Cannons firing ballistic missiles stocked with lack of private time with allied ships, parole denials and bad health explode like pearls blowing up my harbor, leaving many ships wrecked. There has been many causalities in the fifteen (15) year conflict, yet I still fight with all my might, because to be a P.O.W. or to die are my only options.
My only arsenals of defense are the letter brigades. Envelopes armed and stamped with determination, Pen Grenades and Paper Rockets. Verbal bullets shot through airwaves via MCI collect lines, contact visit missiles, bombs memories and a well armed mental. My war strategy consists of reducing my vulnerability to attack, while keeping my depleted fleet of ships in formation in order to mount an offensive to commandeer one of the "Times" critical infrastructures, The Freedom Time Ship and sail it full speed ahead to liberality, before the TIME BOMB hits me!
