PUPPY LOVE

By James Taylor

This is just another love story of how

Two kids meet and fall in love,

puppy love…

Boy meets girl, girl meets boy

She’s his boxed up world, he’s her chew toy

Their hearts say it’s right; it’s love at first sight

Newborn pups in this thing called life

And they’re snuggled up tight.

A little down the road, the pups grow old

They loose their puppy fur, and hair starts to grow

They start to play a little rougher

Nips and yelps, screams and yells

It just makes their love stronger, tougher

Or so it appears through loves magical spells.

Full-grown dogs now Pit Bulls at that

She chases the strays he chases the cats

Once they ran, played, and thought together

They were one they were whole

Now it’s all stormy weather

And they have two separate goals.

The grass is always greener in another yard

When Pit Bulls grow old they grow meaner

And a Pit Bull’s love has scars

A dog’s life is short and plain;

His is coming to an end

He walks past an alleyway and

Sees her with a Great Dane

Now the fun begins.

His rage engulfs him; he rushes to attack

She’s caught in the adultery sin, and there’s no turning back

What was once a perfect love, has ended in a flash

Now the Great Dane and he clash.

Barks and bites, blood everywhere

She’s in shock, and can only stare

She regains her thought, and joins the fight

Their puppy love has ended tonight

He’s about to win, till she bites his neck

His life has come to an end, with a love peck.

Boy meets girl, girl meets boy

She’s his boxed up world, he’s her chew toy.

Puppy love.
