A life of crime leads to life in prison or an early death so the
old folks use to tell me.
As I sit in this prison I really wish the words from the old
would have helped me.
Young and wild is what I used to be but now
I’m young and tired.
Tired of making mistakes that cause me not to be free,
my life was outrageous and violent.
Born with a criminal mind, I always thought
easy money was the best money.
So hostile and rude I used to think that everybody
wanted something from me.
Life as a criminal is a life that nobody wants to live.
But yet we have these fake rappers that make it
look good to the eyes of the young kids.
Drugs, guns, and money, forget all that.
All it gets you is a ticket straight to prison
and do you really want that?
Money, cars and clothes
I done had all that.
I gained it all from illegal crimes
now look where I’m at.
