Learning from the Past

Despair and hopelessness have no color, no race; and are the rich man's most valuable commodities.
There can be NO DOUBT that the Native, Black, and Mexican people have endured the most suffering in America. Both past and present, but in looking at injustice through this type of lens we only hurt ourselves.
When Blacks fight for Black rights, Mexicans fight for Mexican rights, women fight for women's rights; each under their own banner, we all become weaker under the divide and conquer policy.
   What do I mean?
This has been and continues to be the Government’s tactics. Their biggest tool is the corporate owned news media spreading their propaganda.
What we must do, if we truly want our people's suffering to end, is to drop our separate banners and create a newer and United Human Rights Banner.
We must use the same tactic used to conquer the Native people. The Natives did not lose because they were weaker; they lost because they were overwhelmed. They lost because they did not fight as one people until it was too late.
The time has come for us to learn from the past and commit their mistakes no more.
