I have 20 years in on a 25 - life bid, with 5 years to my first parole board appearance.
As for where I'm going with my life - I can't answer. My entire life has been behind bars and all my experiences and education are from behind walls. Should I ever reach society, I have much to rely upon to be successful: college degree, an art degree, computer programming and numerous labor trades.
With my free time I like to write and draw - especially cartoons. I do cartoons because I enjoy making people laugh. If I'm lucky I'll get syndicated throughout the country and become rich. I enjoy laughing and getting others to laugh and smile with me. I think it's my Irish heritage.
My goal is to get out of prison and spend "real time" with my family. U' a simple man with simple dreams. I don't expect too much out of life.
I live the Christian creed and it works for me. Having been incarcerated for so long, I've become crude, a little vulgar and a pessimist and realist all at the same time. But I still make a wonderful pet! I don't eat much, self-groom and sleep on the floor.
I have a lot of unrealistic dreams for a man in my position and I'd be perfectly willing to share them with anyone.
