Dear Visitor,
Thank you for taking the time to visit me.
I have been incarcerated since October 1, 1993, when I was arrested in St. Louis, Missouri. I had been a fugitive from justice for two years at the time of my arrest.
I originally was arrested when I was 20 and charged with operating a Continuing Criminal Enterprise. It was my first offense, but it carried a twenty-year minimum sentence and a maximum sentence of life. The thought of spending the rest of my life in prison for a nonviolent offense was a bit too much for this adolescent to handle. So I fled.
Later, in 1993, the feds caught up with me in St. Louis, and since then, I've been a prisoner of the war on drugs, serving this sentence of twenty-five years, four months. I'm scheduled for release in October, 2015. I'm 30 now, and if nothing changes, I expect to remain in prison until I am 44. A long time for a first-time, nonviolent offender.
During the time I serve, I expect to educate myself and write about the prison experience. Please review the information I provide through this Website, and consider engaging in a dialogue with me. if you have an interest in learning anything about the prison system, please write me . I'll give you the graphic details. And check out my poetic Terrorism and Prison Stories, which I will feature in the Writing Link of this site. Also, please review the national articles that describe my case. I will update this site regularly, and I look forward to building new relationships.
I welcome the opportunity to correspond with you.
Sincerely,
SethEDUCATION
