With three years remaining on a sentence
for unarmed bank robbery, Gary D. Jackson is 37-year-old Federal prisoner
#62449-065 at the maximum-security facility in Terre Haute, Indiana. Gary
works as the senior clerk in the law library of the institution that houses
the nation's only Federal death row. Politically active, he is involved with a
variety of organizations that advocate for judicial and prison reform. Widely
published, he continues to write and speak for those he calls "the
voiceless."
