I am 38 years old and have been incarcerated since 1997. I have been writing poetry for twenty years and finally decided to pursue the long time dream of seeing a part of my poetry in print. The beautiful state of Colorado has been my home since 1969 and I wouldn't consider anywhere else as a better place to live. I do have three children who are the joy of my life. My oldest daughter shares the poetry bug with me and we help one another when the rhyme fails us. I think poetry has enriched my life and I encourage everyone I can to read poetry.
