Lawson Strickland was born in Virginia in 1970. He joined the Army at age 17 and served in Operation Desert Storm.  Subsequently he was charged with murder for which he still claims his innocence. He is currently on Louisiana's Death Row. Mr. Strickland is a writer of both fiction and non-fiction, frequently writing on capital punishment and the judicial system.
